About Us

Our nursery is a private, family-run day nursery situated in the grounds of the King Edward VII School, Melton Mowbray. We have been open for 12 years. The nursery is open 51 weeks of the year from Monday to Friday, from 7.00am to 6.30pm, for children aged between 6 weeks and 11 years.

Our aim is to provide a safe and stimulating day nursery facility to a high standard. The nursery is located in purpose-built premises, and has the benefit of a large garden, allowing the children to play outside on carefully-chosen equipment.

Each child has their own key person, and will belong to one of the 6 Winnie the Pooh home rooms appropriate for their age.

The children enjoy 3 nutritionally-balanced meals every day. All meals are home-made and prepared on-site by our own chef.

Trips and outdoor activities are organised for the children on a regular basis.

We provide all children in our care with comfort, love, security, encouragement and praise and allow children to move forward at their own pace. All children will be valued and respected, and the children will develop confidence through the careful choice of activities.

Flexible and one-off bookings are available. Before and after-school care is also offered, we will drop off and collect from schools in the Melton area.
