King Edward VII Day Nursery and Pre-School is a private, family-run day nursery situated in the grounds of the King Edward VII School, Melton Mowbray. We have been open for 16 years. The nursery is open 51 weeks of the year from Monday to Friday, from 7.00am to 6.30pm, for children aged between 6 weeks and 11 years.

Our aim is to provide a safe and stimulating day nursery facility to a very high standard. The nursery is located in purpose-built premises, and has the benefit of a large garden, allowing the children to play outside on carefully chosen equipment.

Each child has their own key person, and will belong to one of the 6 Winnie the Pooh home rooms appropriate for their age.

We provide all children in our care with comfort, love, security, encouragement and praise and allow children to move forward at their own pace. All children will be valued and respected, and the children will develop confidence through the careful choice of activities.
